The Cleveland Cavaliers hit the road to Orlando as they look to close out this series here on Friday night in game six. Cleveland picked up a close and competitive victory in game number five at home with a great performance down the stretch from their key players. That is something they will need to replicate in this game on Friday night if they want to wrap up this first round series and advance to the second round of face off with the Boston Celtics.
Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic will look to keep their season alive by remaining undefeated in the postseason at home with a third victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers this series. This should be yet another close and competitive matchup like we’ve seen him throughout the majority of the games in this first round postseason series. The last time the series shifted to Orlando was really when the momentum swing was in full effect as Orlando put up two incredible performances at home against Cleveland to even up the series at two apiece.

History Between These Two Teams At this point in the series, these two teams are very familiar with each other and you can expect a tight contest that goes down to the final couple minutes much like we saw in game number five earlier this week. It has been pretty consistent, depending on where this series has been played throughout the opening five games as the home team is undefeated at the moment and that is a trend Cleveland will look to break if they want to wrap up this series before heading back home for a potential game seven this weekend.
Cleveland struggled during their two games on the road against the Orlando Magic. As they kept one of them close but automatically gave away the game in the third quarter with an absolutely horrendous performance. That is a mistake that they will look to avoid this time around as they look to finish off the Orlando Magic. Meanwhile, for Orlando, they will recapture those types of performances from game three and game four of the series that they were unable to carry into Cleveland game number five. If Orlando can manage to replicate their performance from game three and four of the series then there will almost certainly be a game number seven this weekend in Cleveland with everything on the line and a spot in the second round against Boston to play for.
Today’s Predictions I am expecting another close and competitive matchup between the Orlando Magic and the Cleveland Cavaliers here on Thursday night in Orlando. As I see Cleveland having a much more improved performance on the road in Orlando, this time around as compared to their two performances in the middle two games of this series.
This is a game that will likely go down to the wire and it will be one in the final two minutes of the contest or potentially overtime. Donovan Mitchell will need to perform well on the road and bring his home down to Orlando with him if he wants to keep the Cleveland Cavaliers in this game and avoid having to play a final game seven over the weekend.
Paolo Banchero has put up incredible numbers throughout this series and he will look to do that once again here in game six to keep his team alive. After two lackluster games to open up the series on the road in Cleveland he came alive during game three and four in Orlando and he will need to replicate those performances if he wants to be successful here in game six as well.
The determining factor in this game will likely be decided away from the superstars, as Wagner and Mobley will need to have pivotal roles in the outcome of this game if they want their team to succeed. Orlando will need their bench players to step up and fill a gap that Cleveland has struggled with throughout the series on the road if they can do that the Magic could come away with another blowout victory over the Cavaliers here on Friday night.
I could easily see this game going either way but in the end, I do look for the Orlando Magic to grab the third victory of the series at home against Cleveland and even up this series. As I look for Orlando to have a dominant performance much like they did in game three and game four previously in this series at home and I expect them to pick up a comfortable victory against the Cavaliers here on Friday night. Not only do I look for the Orlando Magic to pick up victory but I also look for them to cover the spread in the process.
Tips For Betting Orlando has been incredible at home this season compiling a record of 31-11. They’ve also been incredible in games that they are favored to win, as they come into this one with a record of 32-8.
