The Oklahoma City Thunder travel to the Sunshine State where they will play the Orlando Magic here on Tuesday night. At one point in the year, both of these teams were sitting at the top of their respective conferences, and so far only Oklahoma City was able to maintain that momentum throughout the season. Both of these teams coming into this game in a position to make the playoffs this year as long as they can remain healthy and consistent throughout the second half of the regular season. They are two of the youngest teams in the NBA and they are off to fast starts this year, and they look to have bright futures ahead of them as long as they can maintain that consistency in the future. This will be the second of two meetings between these two teams this season, and it will be the final meeting between them unless they meet in the NBA finals, as they play in opposite conferences.

History Between These Two Teams It was a 12 point victory at home for the Oklahoma City Thunder the last time these two teams met in Oklahoma City. Now they will look to replicate that performance here on Tuesday night on the road in Orlando. As Oklahoma City will look to grab the series sweep of Orlando with another victory on the road here in this game. Oklahoma City came away with a pretty comfortable victory in the first meeting as the game was a little bit more lopsided than the score suggested as Oklahoma City was in complete control throughout the contest.
Oklahoma City jumped out to a quick lead as they won the first three quarters of the game and only lost the fourth quarter by a single point. They look to replicate that performance throughout this game in Orlando on Tuesday night as they look to keep their strong stretch of basketball intact and further extend their lead at the top of the Western Conference. It was the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander show in Oklahoma City once again as he put up a 30+ point performance the first time these two teams met. He has been carrying the way for Oklahoma City throughout the majority of the year, and he will look to step up in a big way once again. For the Orlando Magic, it was Paolo Banchero that led the way in the scoring as he put up a 20 point performance, despite the 12 point loss to Oklahoma City.
Today’s Predictions I expect this game to end in a similar fashion to their first contest, as I look for another high scoring game between these two young fast paced teams. I expect a closer result than last time, but I still look for the Oklahoma City Thunder to grab the victory, despite being on the road here on Tuesday night against Orlando. As I look for Oklahoma City to grab their second consecutive victory in a row and get things going in the right direction once again, as they look to extend their lead on top of the Western Conference heading into the second half of February.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will likely put up another incredible performance the second time around much like he has in the majority of Oklahoma City games this season. He has been nearly unstoppable, no matter how much attention has paid towards him throughout the game as he just continues to find bucket after bucket in the most clutch moments of the contest. If Orlando wants to be successful and pick up the victory in this game at home on Tuesday night, they will need to find a way to stop SGA and they will need to get their own superstars like Banchero off to a fast start in this game. This is an Orlando team that has been struggling as of late as they have rapidly falling down the standings within the conference, and they will need to get things going in the right direction once again heading into the final few months of the regular season.
Tips For Betting Oklahoma City has been tremendous coming off of a victory this season winning 24 times and they will look to piece together yet another winning streak with a victory here on Tuesday night. They have put together a respectable campaign on the road as well winning 15 of 26 road games this season and they will look to make it 16 out of 27 with another solid performance here in Orlando. Oklahoma City comes into this game as the slight favorites as they are currently favored by three points heading into this one and they will look to cover the spread against Orlando for the second time this season.
Oklahoma City has covered the spread in 32 of their 54 games this season as they have a solid track record of covering regardless of being on the road or at home. They have covered in 12 out of their 18 games against the Eastern Conference this season as well. Orlando has been tremendous in their own right this season, but with their inability to stop SGA in the last game I look for them to have the same issues throughout this game on Tuesday night at home as well. As I look for SGA to take over in this one and lead the Thunder to a victory and a cover here on Tuesday night in the Sunshine state.
