The Orlando Magic were able to force a game number seven in this first round playoff series with a come from behind victory on Friday evening at home. Now they will look to steal one on the road for the first time in this series and advance to the second round of the postseason to face off with the Boston Celtics. Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero came up clutch for the third time this series in Orlando, and that is something they will look to replicate throughout this game on Sunday afternoon as they look to maintain that momentum away from home. They will need to do exactly that in this one as they were able to fend off Donovan Mitchell being the only Cleveland player to record a point in the fourth quarter and a 50 point performance from him as well to lead their team to a victory. If they can replicate those types of performances that they showed on Friday night, then Orlando should be able to pull out another close victory against Cleveland and win this series on the road.
Donovan Mitchell put up an incredible single game performance as he was the only person to score in the final quarter of the game for Cleveland. However, that is partially what led to their loss on Friday night in the sixth game of the series on the road, as they will need other players to step up besides Donovan Mitchell, if they want to be successful here at home on Sunday and advance to the second round against Boston. He cannot be the player scoring for the Cleveland Cavaliers team. As he is not capable of doing it himself, and it is a bit reminiscent of the dark days of the LeBron James era when he was trying to carry everyone along. That is something Cleveland has been trying to move past for the last three years and just when it looked like they were finally getting past that it seems to be reverting to its old ways. As they look desperate coming into this game on Sunday with a lack of momentum and a lack of direction.

History Between These Two Teams At this point in the season, every team in the league should be familiar with each other after playing throughout the regular season and having plenty of tape on each other as well. This should be another close and competitive match up here on Sunday afternoon as we’ve seen multiple games in this series that have gone down to the very wire. That is exactly what I expect out of Cleveland and Orlando here in this one as these two teams will trade buckets back-and-forth as the home team in this series looks to remain undefeated with a seventh victory.
Today’s Predictions I am expecting another close and competitive matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic here on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland. As I look for Donovan Mitchell to put up another incredible performance and for Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner to do the same for the Orlando Magic throughout this game on Sunday afternoon. This will be another back-and-forth contest all the way down to the final few possessions and it could potentially go into overtime to decide who advances from this first round postseason series.
Donovan Mitchell will once again have to carry the load for this Cleveland team, as they have been missing Jaret Allen throughout the last few games of this series and it shows with their performance on the court. If Cleveland wants to win in this game on Sunday afternoon, they will need to put up another 50 point performance much like he did in game six. Especially f guys like Garland and the rest of the supporting cast on the bench continue to play as rough as they did.
Meanwhile, for Orlando, they will need Wagner, and Banchero to continue their dominance as they have been unable to carry it over on the road throughout this postseason series. That is something that will desperately need to change if the Magic want to pick up the victory here in game seven otherwise it could be a long night for them if they cannot carry over their momentum from their three victories at home.
Mostly this game is going to come down to the performance of the supporting cast and the bench players and at the moment that arguably gives the advantage to the Orlando Magic. Despite not having home court advantage throughout this game that is what could be the difference for Orlando in this one if they can outperform the Cleveland bench that has been very underwhelming throughout this season. in the end, I do look for enough people to step up with the help of Donovan Mitchell to lead Cleveland to the victory at home here in game seven.
Tips For Betting Cleveland has been solid at home this season winning 28 of 43 games at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Meanwhile, Orlando has been one of the worst road teams in the NBA this season, losing 26 of 44 games away from home. Cleveland has bounced back well from losses this year winning 23 in 36 opportunities.
